3 days off on the schedule this week... today was supposed to be the first of a 3 day streak skateboard extravaganza... turned out to be the last... I mean I really need one day off at least...

Praise the lord.

Long time no read. I just broke my sd card adaptor.. and basically, between you and me, life here tends to avoid the exitement, you really have to seek for it if you know what I mean. Thats why I dont post a lot. So whenever I can, I grab my board, some change hanging on my desk and i head to Birmingham for another epic skateboard session in the most antiskateboard country I ever seen. I thought Quebec was shit for skateboard.. but here.. I mean.. good street spots are easy to find but if you look closer at it.. the pavement wont give you any chance of landing properly and if your spot is a set of steps, youll notice that britains have the wonderful habit of putting some "antidrifting" devices before every steps in the country... which makes them IMPOSSIBLE to skate unless you pop one meter before the steps... which is retarded.. And skateparks.. You dont even ask me..

So I celebrated my 22nd birthday here with my foreign friends.. that was rad.. People here are nice and interesting to chat with. I mean one of them told me the whole story of his country and that was pretty fucked up.. like before the early 80s, it was ILLEGAL to emigrate.. and the government was 100% controlling every media with strong sensorship.. like total V for Vendetta... anyway.. heres my birthday cake:



As Im exploring the city, theres something strange and annoying that I just got to notice with times.. It seems that England forgot about the french language and Canada... like.. its not even there.. I watch dozens of dvds here and first of all, theres english,polish,spanish language but no french.. NEVER.. and then you can have like.. 30 subtitles language and NO FRENCH.. I mean alright, english, polish, and spanish subtitles and no french would be ok.. but among czech, japan, arabian, slovakian and fuicking HEBREW.. maybe you could have added french.. I dont know..



also in the public payphones.. international codes for EVERYWHERE but Canada.. I mean yes we are a small non-influential country on global world politics but hey.. we got few people living there..



Finally, I broke my beloved richie jackson death skateboard deck... BUT I bought 5 more blanks on ebay.. theyre 7.75 so if you want some when Im back in Quebec, Im probably gonna have one for you at cheaaaap price.. since spectral is shit for skateboard now..
